Most people who start an MLM business end up spending more money every month than they make. You most likely have read about this fact before. What you haven't read about is the truth. The truth is, in my estimation, that about 99.9% fail at MLM!
I've been involved in the Network marketing industry since 1980 and have been online building websites since 1997. I've earned a residual check every month since July of 2002. Not many people are still around that started in 2002. Not many at all! That why I estimate that 1/10 of 1% earn a long-term residual income in this business.
How do YOU succeed if so many fail? The best method is to not make the same mistakes that most Network marketers make. Here are the biggest mistakes:
1. They fall in love with a company and/or product first, then try to figure out how to market it (their upline doesn't know how either).
2. They assume joining a company somehow ensures their success, even if they don't have a proven plan for success to follow that works for everybody.
3. They don't bother to learn the basics of building an MLM business. They listen to their upline who really don't know much either. Their upline tells them to do stupid, wasteful tactics that don't work very well. End result is wasted time and money and frustration.
4. They don't do the daily activities necessary for success. Yes, most people that fail did daily activities, but the wrong daily activities!
Here is how to ensure that you get the results you are looking for:
1. Educate yourself about MLM. Who you trust a Doctor who never went to medical school? Of course not, right? The person calling themselves a "Doctor" would be a scammer, a fraud, if they hadn't attended and successfully completed medical school. Why do you think it is different for Network Marketing? MLM is a profession. let me say it again. Network Marketing is a profession. It is a very high paying profession for those who take it seriously. The fact is that over 99 out of 100 people who call themselves a Network Marketer do not know the first thing abut what they are doing. They have not learned the necessary fundamentals of building a business successfully. They have either learned the wrong information or they have not bothered to educate themselves at all -- and they expect success? Educate yourself by learning the correct information.
2. Find a MLM Mentor and convince that person to teach you the MLM business. You can shave off years, even decades from your learning curve if you align yourself with a mentor that is interested in your success. Most people do things backward. They find a company or product first then try to market it. What they should do first is find a Mentor. The mentor will supply the company and product that are picked from many years of experience. This company and product line will be long-term and lucrative. The Mentor will teach you day by day what to do so you can skyrocket up the company compensation plan and make tons of money. Mentoring is the single most successful method, period. If you try to go it alone, you will most likely fail. if you listen to your upline that teach stupid worn-out tactics that don't work very well, you will fail. You CAN be successful. Find an MLM Mentor!
